Every time I think of Wendell I get a bit teary eyed.
We were collaborators and would bounce concepts off each other to come up with ideas that neither of us could do alone. We could spend hours having a conversation while our individual streams of consciousness would seem to combine into one continuous flow. He would amaze me with his creativity, which was endless and could not be bound. Wendell's creativity always helped spark my own.
We met and became friends later in life, but it seemed we had known each other since childhood. We had a type of closeness that only many decades could bring.
Wendell, you were like a brother. In fact, you and I discussed more about life than my own blood brothers and I do. I miss you, but I will not forget you. You will be with me always.
I will forever celebrate our collaborations, our friendship, our brotherhood.

Our last colab was a simple t-shirt. Basic in it's design, humorous at the surface, complex in it's many subtleties. Even though it was never produced, the graphic you created has been forever etched into my memory. One more thing I can celebrate about you.
